This is my dress too and I am going with a long cathedral veil. I tried one on with my dress and it was perfect!
Beautiful dress! I'd say you have many options, including cathedral, waltz or fingertip length. Good luck!
I think you could pull off a cathedral if that's what you want! Otherwise, a fingertip would look nice, too.
I would go very sheer, and not as full, fingertip or cathedral. That way you don't have your veil ending right where that pick up on the skirt starts. But long and sheer is pretty cool even with a detailed back (that's what I have, post 19):

D'oh I meant elbow, and *not* fingertip.
The cathedral didn't interrupt the pick-ups ad flowers in the back of the dress. Also, the one I tried on was very sheer so you could still see the beautiful back. FizicsGirl is spot on with her recs!
Oooo I love your dress! If you love Cathedral, you should go with Cathedral. :)
By the way, may I ask the brand and the style of your dress? Very very very very nice! :)
I too think a Cathedral veil would work. I think it is important not to have too much going on ON the veil, but Cathedral would look beautiful!
I agree with those who said Cathedral. Otherwise you risk covering up all those amazing parts of the back!
I'll be totally different and suggest a birdcage veil. It wouldn't disctract from your amazing dress and would look so pretty! The flowers are so pretty on the shoulder!
i agree with April H. that's the first thing i thought of when i saw it: birdcage veil!
3rd for birdcage veil! But I'd say no matter what keep it really simple!
4th for birdcage veil, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture - would look really nice w/ your beautiful dress! ![]()
wow! what a gorgeous dress!! i like the idea of a cathedral length veil. i think you can certainly wear whatever length your little heart desires and look beautiful, but a fingertip or elbow length might not look as nice because of the gathering in the back...since it is not gathered straight across but on an angle. good luck!!
bird cage or drop veil/cathedral length that is very sheer
I was dead-set on a veil too... but then I messed with the veils I had made the night before the wedding and found that I felt so claustrophobic with the tulle or french net around my face that I couldn't wear one.
I would vote for either cathedral or birdcage with your dress depending on what kind of look you are going for.
Please let us know!
A cathedral would look spectacular - something like this so it wouldn't interfere with the detail on the back of your dress

Hi there, thanks ahead of time for any feedback you may have...
Below is a photo of my dress, the flowers on the shoulder are removable- I've got some real questions about length of veil... I definitely want a veil, I was thinking fingertip, but I would love a long long flowing veil. Any advice?http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/Uploads/Sized/18892_2_1024.jpg
Thanks!
