This is my venue.. I am looking for some ideas of how to decorate… what colors would you suggest. I am NOT usuing chair covers so should i uses sashes straight on the chair? I am keeping the ivory linen.. is it too much with chair sashes and runners. I am thinking green.. like chartreuse from paper source and pink.. or Yellow..
anyone got any ideas?

Do you mean runners on the table? I don’t think it would be too much with runners on the tables and chairs sashes–especially if they are the same color.
What are you doing for your centerpieces? What are your wedding colors? That’s how I would determine the color of the sash. I love the idea of the green!

i dont know – those chairs are super cool. i dont think you need chair sashes. the plain chairs would like simple and sleek and cute.
do the runners tho. love chartreuse.

I also think you don’t need chair sashes, I agree those chairs ARE cute! Are you interested in bringing in color on the table with flowers, with a table runner or both?

i dont think the chairs need sashes either – they’re absolutely gorgeous on their own! maybe you could use a chartreuse overlay then have a big bunch of pink and yellow flowers in the middle of the table – great pop of colors – and would coordinate lovely! …or pink overlay with green apple centerpieces! here’s some inspiration photos!

So glad to hear that the chair sashes arent needed.. i like the chairs too they are different to the regular resturant/reception style chair.
I am having trouble picking colors but i think i will just go with green, white and a touch of pink.
green table runners… white flowers and pink somewhere. 🙂

Yep, I was gonna say no chair shases too, I like those chairs!
My colors were green & white (my green was a more earthy olive, but not too dark, very neutral green)

those chairs are very nice and I wouldnt worry about covering them up. I like the idea of doing something different than apples in the centerpieces, just because you see so many apples already. Myabe kiwi if you would like a fruit, or wheat grass (shots anyone? lol)…

You ar lucky to have such nice chairs- i say use them as they are!
It looks kind of gardeny in there, like secret garden with the blank metal bits on the chairs, maybe you could use ivy, and big white flowers, or white roses?very classic. you could put in a shot of yellow too with yellow roses? I think that would look so pretty! You could even use a sort of hessian or burlap for the runner, keep it in the the natural chairs?

I like the burlap idea. I will look into the cost of making my own runners on the weekend.
Is it just me or are all (the majority) the pictures online of rectangle tables yet most venues have round tables.. cant seem to find round table inspiration.. cos most rectangle centerpices have to be changed for round tables??
