- Wedding: October 2010
One of my honored ladies, we will call her “Ritz” and my mother asked me what I wanted for a bridal shower. I really didn’t know. I have enjoyed some of the bridal showers I have attended in the past but never desired to be in the bride seat opening presents, and there did not seem to be a house or person that I felt should do the hostess work. Appearently, my mother wasn’t big on throwing a traditional bridal shower either and didn’t think I needed to ask for gifts on two occations.
So I told them what I really wanted,a tea party and garden tour! It was a great oppertunity for all the girls to get to know each other and I gave them each their gifts. My favorite gift showed the love of my ladies. They embraced me and my idea. The gals got together to get my mother and I perfect “mad hatter tea party hats” Lady “Ritz” and I are exactly 6 months apart and have always called the opposite on their birthday to wish them a happy “UNBIRTHDAY”! My mother has always seen me as Alice from Wonderland rather then a princess. So here are a few pictures of my “Very Merry Unshower”.
I can’t seem to upload the others but it was Fabulous in the gardens.
