No, but I just looked at the website and I love it! Are you going to use them?
@Mary Green: No but I'm using their decorator Marlene Jolley from Lasting impressions and having the ceromony and reception in my FI cousins huge back yard.
I can't wait to get started on all the planning with her but she says we will start in January.
She has so many cute shabby chic items to choose. From furniture and doors to mason jars and crystals to hang from trees. I am so excited! She even has a vintage pink couch I will be using. (just like the yellow one in the pics.)
@luvmyDwight: hi! I have seen her blog and wasnt sure if she only worked through my vintage venue, I'm excited she works seperately. Can you tell me how you contacted her? I wanted to send her an email but I cant find an email address.
Do you know any information about her pricing?
I appreciate any information you can give me! I love the venue too, but I already have a venue booked and paid for.
@mabrown: Marlene Jolley is awesome! You will love her work! She did my sisters wedding and it was amazing!! Her home # is: 480-833-1109 and cell 480-309-9445. She can make anything gorgeous!!
Whatever you do, don't go with Vintage Venue... But from what I hear MARLENE is awesome. =)
@jennmdlc: Hi there! I just got engaged and plan on using Marlene Jolley because she has worked with my sister before & everything turned out beautiful in my parents backyard. Since then, my parents have moved and I don't have the backyard so I was thinking of looking at My Vintage Venue. Can you tell me if you were unhappy with their location? Price? Any help would be appreciated as we are just starting to look around for a venue. Thanks!
We just got married at My Vintage Venue and we had a really great experience there. We did our own decorating and Melody was very accomodating to us. I can post some of our wedding pictures for you. It's like renting out a big backyard and they have things onsite that you can rent from them. The lighting is what sold us on their venue. It would have cost us $1,500 to put up the lighting in our own backyard but they rent their venue for only $750 so it was well worth it for us to go there.
There is also a new venue opening in Gilbert, Ariz. It's really cool because you can hold the wedding in the barn. We are checking it out on Tuesday night and can't wait. The same decorator mentioned above (Marlene Jolley) decorates here also. Check it out at:
