I agree maybe a TAD long (only because I've always heard the traditional sort of quick vows) but the words are really beautiful. As long as you dont mind the length, I thinik it's awesome! <3
I think it's soooo sweet. It doesn't seem that long. I'm writing my own vows too and dreading it

Thanks for your input. I don't mind the length and when read out-loud I don't think it's too long. I actually timed myself, and it comes to about 1.5 min (taking a couple of pauses in case I start to choke up). Seeing as how this is the most meaningful part of the ceremony to us, I think that's ok...

I love when ppl write their own vows. They r great words and I don't think they are too long. :)
Very emotional! Just make sure that he takes care to write similar vows so he's not left standing up there stuttering with 3 lines written down on a napkin, you know? Hehe. :)

Beautiful! I actually don't think they are long at all. They just look long here on the boards - Have you timed them? I imagine they're about 1-2 minutes tops.

@hannahlily: Awww that's sweet =D It took a bit of convincing because my FI is a little reserved with his feelings in public, but after I gave up trying, he decided he wanted to do it too! I think it makes the moment a lot more personal for us.
@quishi: I should say that by lucky I meant picky - damn you iPhone! :)
Those vows are beautiful. It does not seem too long. I agree to just make sure that the length of his vows are going to be similar to yours so that it doesn't seem odd.
they are nice, but you might want to skip a few sentences. half the time the guests don't hear/understand what you are saying. i know i don't. i think it's for you and your husband, the people in front and your wedding party. they are the ones that hear it. everyone else usually can't.
@roxymalone: actually, it might depend on how the ceremony is set up. I know our DJ will be providing a mic for ours, so hopefully everyone will be able to hear.

@atalante: thanks, yeah that was really important to me to. we have a mic set up right next to us because I definitely want to make sure everyone hears the ceremony. That's kinda the whole reason everyone's there you know, the wedding...
i like it... last paragraph is long tho. i think a few sentences could be taken out or edited.

Antonio, I didn’t know when I met you how lucky I was to have found you.
