Hello again everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas break! There has been a development….he has bought the ring!!!
I am so excited I don’t know what to do with myself! We had an amazing NYE with friends and at the end of the night he told me he wanted to go and choose a ring with me on Saturday. He was going to go and buy it himself on NYE but he said that I will be wearing it for the rest of my life and he wants me to pick it!
So we went shopping and I found the one! It’s all paid for and is being sized as I type and will be ready in the morning!
I have told him that I will not be hassling him for it (honest!) and he can keep hold of it until the right moment. We are going a family wedding in 3 weeks and I wouldn’t want to steal anyone else’s thunder or have their big day over shadowing our news if that makes sense. I expressed this concern to him and I think he feels the same. I will be dying to tell everyone when we see them but it just doesn’t seem like the right time. So…I think it may happen sometime in February!!!
