I got a shutterfly album in addition to paying a crazy fortune for a professional album for my 2012 wedding  – i actually like the shutterfly one better! It feels more personal because I designed it, and I could also use non-pro shots from friends and family that I loved. I think in total it was $200, and that included the lay flat pages (totally worth it!) and leather cover (nice but not worth it). I have done a shutterfly “yearbook” for my husband as an anniversary gift each year since. They are so fun to make and not very expensive.

I made a 65 page book and I LOVE it! My MIL and mom got a copy as well and they absolutely died over them. Good work! I would also like to see more, just curious as to ur design elements!

KingsDaughter:  Yes, in retrospect I like the photo cover better!

That is such a gorgeous album! Do you know if the paper is acid free archival paper? That is the one reason I would consider buying a pro album.

This makes me so excited! I *just* ordered 3 11’x14″ photobooks (one for us, and then one for each parental unit) 110 pages, layflat, matte photo cover. Used the 50% off sale they had going on until June 25th plus some other coupon I found, so I got each for significant savings. It makes me glad to see a good review of the exact type of book I ordered!

KingsDaughter:  how thick are the pages?  I was going to use artisan state, but I’ve never seen the layflat shutterfly before.
