lovelee1:  How gorgeous! We’re band twins! Mine is 3/4, but otherwise they look identical. Great choice! I’m absolutely thrilled with mine. The little diamonds in it are big enough that you can see the details on the cut. Feels very luxurious to me. 😀

brinny04:  What a cool set!!! Very vintage and stunning. Where to start? The hexagon! The sapphires! The metal details! Is there a story behind it? Is it new or are they estate pieces?

Fizzy8:  I’m a very picky person and a couple years ago I came across an antique ring on etsy and fell in love with it. It sold long before I was getting engaged and I was so bummed. I had been tempted to buy the $2000 ring just for myself for when I got engaged LOL! So for the 2ish years after that, I scoured the internet searching for a ring that was comparable. Sadly, I never found one I liked as much. I did find some at Brilliant Earth that I liked, but none of them compared to that one antique that sold.

So.. My boyfriend and I had gotten serious and discussed marriage/rings all that… I told him about that ring and showed him the other 2 that I liked. We were out of town for work and decided while we were away, we would go into a jewelry store where noone we knew would see us (ha) and look at sizes of diamonds and such to see what i’d even really want…

It just so happens that the “closest jewelry store” that siri led us to was a small privately owned shop that was apparently known for their custom work! (We didn’t know that until we got there and were talking to the lady).

So we looked at the diamonds, picked the size I wanted (.5 carat, though my fiance still thinks I should have gotten something bigger)… and my fiance ended up emailing with the lady when we were back home and sent her all of the pictures from the listing (i had saved them) of the ring I loved…

So, it was replicated. It’s actually quite different than the other but it was literally made for me and I couldn’t be happier!

Oh and on the sapphires–I always wanted a sapphire engagement ring.. My fiance was worried that people wouldn’t think it was an engagement ring and was really adamant he thought it should jsut be diamonds… So he did all diamonds in the e-ring and put sapphires in the wedding band!

😀 The hexagon and milgrain are defiinitely my favorite parts of it, but the whole piece is just so gorgeous. I find myself just staring at it a lot

Sorry that was so long! lol
