Love the blue sash! And I think you were right to removed the underlay. It looks great on you and for such a great price too!
So beautiful! I really love the sash too. Excellent job on knowing what you want and getting it done. I have no imagination when it comes to figuring out what needs to be done to clothes to make it work.
Beautiful upgrades to your dress :). I should do this when I have mine hack and slashed.
Thanks all!! My maids haven't seen it yet - Only really my Mom. So It's good to get good feedback :)
@mandigrl04: wow what a beautiful find you look stunning in that dress and i love the blue in the sash.
You look wonderful in your dress! And two weeks away? How exciting!!!!!!!!
@mandigrl04: I remember seeing you post your dress before with the blue sash and how much I loved the blue sash!! The dress looks even better with the other modifications, I really like how the lace sits on the dress in your last picture. Did you have the belt custom made?

I bought my dress last February at a consignment shop for $300. She's an old sample dress from Alfred Angelo. This is her evolution of getting rid of the brown sash and altering the neckline... and removing 36 inches from the satin under the lace.
This is her now. This was my last fitting. My seamstress removed 36 inches from the underlay satin. I wanted the lace to be more romantic and flowy.
How do you think she looks now? Only 2 weeks away!!
My corset wasn't as tight here as it was in other pictures. So I think she'll look even better in 2 weeks :)
