Your pictures are beautiful. Sometimes I wish it would lightly rain on my wedding day... I think rain adds to wedding pictures. Especially if you're prepared with a cool umbrella.
Yes, it is from DB (I don't reccomend them, customer service is horrendous there). I wanted something really "sparkly", the entire thing was made out of beading! It was so heavy. I have a lot of experience with wedding/event planning so I did a lot of the deets myself. I am in the business, now though I am corporate.

My father passed away last year, I surprised my brother as his substitute w/ a dance:
Lots of bees are asking me about my purse, I got both purses at Target. It was under $20 bucks! I used it at my reception and then an ivory one at the ceremony. Hope this helps inspire!
Did you add a sash for the reception? What a cute idea! I think I want to stay all-white, but then I will see a beautiful bride with the sash and change my mind for a moment... that is a great compromise!
I added it to give me some pizazzz to the party since hot pink and blue were my theme...i loved the dress so much on its own, i didn't want to take away from the scenery in NYC as well.
I couldn't afford 2 dresses so this was my option and a good friend of mine let me borrow her grandma's brooch....i would suggest a change of shoes or sashes for any bride.

www.kateleigh.com (loved her, i think she should be more flexible with her hours tho, it was an issue)
www.enviphoto.com (I won a contest but they were the best vendors I have ever, ever dealt with, they stayed with us for over 12 hours!)
