My photographer posted a sneak peek of our wedding photos from this past Saturday!!! I can't wait to see the rest!
Gorgeous! I love your hair- color (I'm a redhead too and just realized that I don't see many bridal pictures with redheads :) ) and style, which is basically what I want to do with mine. Good luck with waiting to see the rest, that must be tough!
It's funny...those pictures of the shoes came out so blue!!! They are really peridot! Still look good though...
gorgeous, thank you for sharing! you look stunning. may i say that i totally love your bouquet. congratulations!
Tried to make a new post, but for some reason it woulnd't let me...
I just got married last Saturday. Went in to work today, was there for
a whole 10 minutes before they called me in to hr, job cuts. I didn't even see it
coming......I mean I knew job cuts were coming, but just not this soon and not my department
sigh...
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! At least you were able to have a gorgeous wedding without stressing about it! You two look so happy together!
Wow! THey turned out really great. Nice job on planning everything. :)
And, we could almost be twins. I'm a redhead, I think I'm about your size, I look a lot like you, and my FI looks a *lot* like your hubby, except he's a dirty blonde, not a redhead. Funny, huh?
Yay for redheads! The pics are gorgeous. So sorry about the job cuts. Good luck with everything!
Soooo pretty! Congrats!! Focus on the good and not on the bad!
What's that headpiece you're wearing? I really like it...
It's a headband I bought on ebay. Left it at my parents, but I might be selling it later...
Those are beautiful! You look so lovely! Do you have a blog/any DIY tutorials on some of your great details?
I started a blog, but didn't keep up with it. But if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Some of the DIY details:
fabric pew wreaths
programs with window cutout
votives with decorative paper wrapped around them
wedding signage
candles (yes I made my own candles!)
placecards
card box
candy bags
OOT gift bags
rehearsal dinner invites
wedding invites
STD magnets
Yikes! Those pictures are stunning! What great photography, and it looks like your day was p-p-p-perfect!
These are fantastic pictures! Does your photographer have a website? I'm getting married in the Minneapolis area and still looking for a photgrapher that I like.
My heart goes out to you re: the job cut situation. You will come through this trial stronger! And can I just say -- WOW. Your pics are amazing. I love the photographer's style. He really captured the personality of the day and you two. The details are gorgeous! Did you have a wedding planner? Surely you didn't do it all yourself! If so - maybe the layoff is a blessing in disguise. You could so totally be a wedding planner.
PS -- Now I want to get my fiance fun socks. Love that pic!
Nope, no wedding planner... just me!! A very crazy me. I drove my FI crazy during planning. My layoff has now turned into part-time freelance back at my old job. With the rest of my time I have opened a store on Etsy!! So far I have programs, like the ones I had at my wedding, some invitations and candles (I made the candles except the votive for my reception). I am working on adding more invitations (wedding, shower and baby shower), programs and STDs. So far I have had 2 program orders!
Where did you get the little votives for your candles? I love those
absolutely beautiful pictures! the church is breathtaking!
Irish Girl..would you mind telling me what your wrote in your frame for GUEST BOOK? We'd like to write something thanking guests for writing in our book w/ a lil instruction to it, but are not sure what to say. Looks like you that's what you did. Mind sharing?
Thanks!!
rchel234: I got all my votives from Cudge.net. I then bought various paper from Paper Source and Archivers and cut them into 2" strips. Some of them I edged, some I didn't. Then I taped the paper on the votive glass. I tried to use double stick tape so no tape would be showing, but in the end we had to use regular invisible tape to keep some of the paper from popping off. I had so many votives that I think we ended up putting 6-8 on a table. the only rule was there were no matching votives on a table.
Deblyn98: I had a hard time coming up with a sign for the Guest Book. I wanted it to say something cute, that explained what we wanted people to do, but I couldn't find anything. So I just said what we wanted to say (there were still people who didn't figure it out)

That last part I wrote in small type. I don't know if it should have been bigger or not. I think some of the older people didn't understand that they could write on the scrapbook pages. They thought it looked too pretty with our engage, emt photos. Oh well, we had plently of people sign it I guess.
I should also say, that I bought all the frames for my signs at Pier 1 on clearance. And I printed all the signs on the back of wedding invitation paper that I had printed wrong.
so beautiful! I want to chime in and say that your hair looks amazing in these photos. Makes me wish I were a readhead, for sure.
