Hoy crap =(. I hope they can all figure something out.

And man, I bet someone’s getting married there this weekend =(

Maybe there are some nearby hotels that could swing something for them, last minute

Oh my god! That is awful. That really really sucks 🙁 Like you said, at least you have time to find a new place… but still!

Wow – that’s awful! I’m so sorry! I’m glad you have some time to find a new place! That’s so sad for anyone getting married there soon!

Oh no!!!! That’s awful!!! Thankfully you have time to find somewhere else, and I’m sure it will be beautiful.

Ditto to the other Bees, so sad for the other brides/grooms/families out there who were supposed to get getting married there in the next couple months!

omg that is terrible!!! Honestly though I’d maybe wait a week or two and let the dust settle before you decide on your next move. Feb is off-season enough (I would think even in texas?) that venues shouldn’t be *too* hard to book, and maybe they’ll rebuild? I know one of the bees had this happen to them (I want to say Miss Snow but I could be wrong) and the venue did rebuild.

Wow, just saw you’re in Austin – I’m assuming you were going to be getting married at Barr Mansion. How sad – we wanted to get married there too, and would have if it was in our budget. Crazy.

Wow, I am so so so sorry! I just posted about this on the austin board. We were looking at their venue for next summer, but I am still very bummed. FI woke me up this morning to tell me about it. Keep us updated, I’m interested to hear how they handle things, and how long it takes to rebuild.

Hugs

The same thing happened with the German Club here. Someone burnt it completely down in october. They had a wedding booked every weekend until march 2013. I hope you guys find something else you can fall in love with. And good luck!
