AMAZING as usual. You are so lucky and it looks like your wedding was huge fun- congrats!
Anytime I watch on of StillMotion's videos I tear up. I'll have to wait till I go home tonight to watch yours...I don't think my coworkers will appreciate me blubbering in my cubicle! I wish we could afford them tho! We decided to go over budget on photography and are having a friend do our video. If we had more time to save, I would totally do this!
thanks for ruining my makeup!! ahhh!!
but really.
wow.
just love it!
I'm so impressed your worked out on your wedding day!
It looks like your video was totally worth it...it turned out great!! Still Motion is the shizz!
Thanks for posting on video! So many of my "real-life" friends didn't use videographers, so it's nice to find insight from someone who did.
My husband and I didn't plan on having anyone shoot video of us on our wedding day. Until....we walked back down the aisle after we were married. His brother was shooting us! He'd got the whole wedding on video! Now I'm so happy he surprised us!
Oh my God, so lovely. I am doing the same mental hoops...thanks for showing the light at the end of the tunnel! :)
This is so nice. Not only the video (which made me tear, I'll admit!), but I am glad you posted about having a videographer. I too wasn't thinking of having one, until I joined here and saw how beautiful the videos can be. I hope we can find room in our budget to make it happen.
OMG. That is the best thing I have ever seen. haha. I want that so badly now!! :) Plus, I love how happy you were throughout the video. What a fantastic video!
really nice! I also saw another through a link on that page that was done by a company called 15 Minutes of Frame that has a similar style.

When I was putting together my budget for my wedding in 2008 (yikes!), video was never something I wanted. One, I hate to be photographed, let alone filmed...those extra 15 pounds added to the screen, no thanks!
But EVERYONE was saying, you'll never remember your wedding so you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO get it on video. At this point, I was still not convinced after watching some video samples from local videographers. Yawn....
But thanks to Weddingbee, I was able to see a new generation of wedding film emerge with companies like Stillmotion blazing the trail. I was floored after seeing their work...and I found it strange that I ENJOYED watching other people's wedding videos. That I could feel emotionaly connected to people I had never met before is a testament to the job they did. Given the lead time, I was so fortunate to be able to book them to film my wedding.
Now, I know many bees right now are going "must be nice to have $ to pay for something like this" - I had to scrimp and make this a priority...this was definitely not within my original budget! I consciously made a decision that I was going to go for it...this was my wedding present to myself.
Being engaged for 18 months also helped....all bonuses, tax returns went straight into my video budget, and the anticipation kept me going when I would despair about having to live like I was on welfare. No haircuts, taking advantage of the "dollar menus", never going out, not buying any clothes, I have to admit, it was a mental struggle! I definitely had to sacrifice on top of normal wedding savings.
Now that my wedding has come and gone, I made a believer of my husband (he gave me that skeptical look when I was waxing poetic about them) and I want to thank Weddingbee for introducing me to such a wonderful company.
I went into this thinking, I'm only going to get married once so I'm going to invest in the memory. I encourage other brides to consider the same, not necessarily having to book with Stillmotion but to invest in video/film - it's something that lasts a lifetime and bring you back to a special moment that fades in your memory. Trust me, my memory is already fading about that day and I've only been married for less than a week!
I hope you enjoy the video:
