It started with stalking my vendor’s facebook pages.
Then their instagram pages.
Then their Pinterest boards.
Then searching instagram for hashtags related to our vendors (inspiration! Always looking for inspiration!)
Then searching Instagram for other weddings at our venue.
And now that we’ve sent out our invites, the email account we’re receiving RSVPs on and my stats to see if people are actually looking at our website or not.
Call an ambulance!
(but I can’t be the only one… surely? hopefully? lol)

I am so guilty of this. I’m obsessed. I even search for my gown a lot. lol.

@DisneyKb: yes!!! Lol.
and how did I forget stalking Weddingbee?
Yes. I have the rest of the year to go. ahh. I blame pintrest. I can sit for hours and stalk wedding stuff. I don’t know how I’ll make it or I’ll end up seeing everything. Haha
Post # 6
I’ve definitely done most of those searches!

@goingtotherooftopoflove: I’m doing the same thing! it’s so scary lol it’s getting creepy actually

Ooh, yep. Guilty!
My venue is first and formost a historical house museum, so most of their pictures dont have anything to do with weddings. And whenever they do post a wedding picture, its only one or two. So I’m constantly searching these pictures in google hoping to find the photographers blog or facebook to look at more pictures. It makes me feel like such a creep, but I cant help it!

@goingtotherooftopoflove: It’s okay! I’ve done most of them too- though not weddingbee… BUT I found my photographer on the photography board on the bee randomly!! (screen name was the name of the photography company) And I looked through the posts and yup, it’s my photographer- Awkward! She seems to stick to the photography board. So now I don’t post anything on the photo boards at all anymore, lol.

Girl…. I work for a bridal company. I stalk my bridesmaid dresses, veil, shoes, bras, etc from order to picking to distribution to shipping to tracking to delivery to QA to pick up! I have way too much stalking power!

@goingtotherooftopoflove: you’re definitely NOT the only one! I may be worse. I have been online-stalking every vendor we’ve hired…even the ones we haven’t yet and just considering hiring! I also get so excited when they email me, call, or text me just to keep contact before the wedding! When I see that they’ll be a vendor at a bridal show, I immediately want to attend, so I can say hi. I’m such a creeper! Lol! I kinda disclose my over excitement with this whole wedding planning right when I meet them, so I think they have an idea. Hopefully… lol

@goingtotherooftopoflove: Stalking my vendor’s Facebook pages was a key thing for me that helped me determine whether I wanted to hire them or not. If they had a Facebook or web page started in 2007 that hadn’t been touched since forever, I wouldn’t go with them (no updates, communication with/from clients/customers or recent “real” images of their work).
The fact that our wedding’s happening interstate has made me particularly stalkerish. 🙂

Yah. Hopefully none of my vendors ever get murdered suspiciously because a TON of stalking would point back to me.
