He proposed!!!!! It happened on 11/11, just as I had predicted all along! :)
Our cottage at the vineyard we stayed at was private and romantic... I probably could have stayed at that idyllic place forever... But they didn't have a tv, which would have been a deal breaker for my FI-haha! We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant and a walk through the vineyard. We talked and talked on the porch, but it was starting to get really chilly (and i never dress appropriately for the weather) so we went inside. I discovered a book where people wrote about their stay at the cottage, and it was so touching to read all of the stories about love and anniversaries and birthdays celebrated!
I admit, I started getting a little upset because we started getting ready for bed... I thought maybe this isn't going to happen tonight. But when I least expected it, he slid the ring on my finger! I burst into tears like a nut while he asked me to marry me!!! I finally said yes...and like 5 mins later I looked at the ring! He did a wonderful job, and I will post pictures soon! I am still so shocked and excited!!!!!
Thank you, my waiting bee friends! You all have been so supportive! :) I don't plan on leaving the waiting boards anytime soon... You can't get rid of me that easy!
