@Ninteenthchance:  I just downloaded it today and completely failed at it.  my username is the same as it is here – going to seriously try again tomorrow! (I’ll try to figure out how to add you!!)

Edit: I have no idea how to add someone just using their username!

@Ninteenthchance:  I use it, but not consistently — even though the app is RIGHT THERE on my phone.

I use it! (My username on there is Bellasera973, if you want to add me) I *love* using it. It took me awhile to really commit to counting my calories every day, but after a couple of weeks, it’s easy to stick with it. I weigh myself every day too, because I like having all of the data on the chart, lol.

@Ninteenthchance:  Sometimes, I find that the food measurements can be a challenge. More often than not, I eyeball them — so I’m not sure that I’m 100% accurate in my calorie counts.

@Ninteenthchance:  I’ve been using MFP regularly since the beginning of January and between that and joining a gym, I have lost 20 pounds.

Just remember that it’s a guide and not to give up if you go over one day (or one week lol).  Everyone is different, but what has worked for me is eating my 1200 calories a day during the week, and then “banking” the calories I burn off at the gym to save up for the weekend.  That way if there’s a party, or we’re going out to dinner, or I just plain want an ice cream sundae, I’m covered.  I think it’s worked so far because I don’t feel like I can’t eat the things I want… I just have pick and choose and EARN IT first 🙂

Message me if you want to be friends on there… I’m afraid posting my username on here might blow any chance of anonymity I might have on here.

I’m ajayner85 on MFP and I use it every day! I’ve lost 10lbs in about 5-6 weeks, so I’m gonna stick with it 🙂
