Rebecca, I am investigating myregistry.com myself right now.  Did you get any feedback or try it out yourself?  I’d be interested in whatever you learned.

 Thanks!

Thanks Rebecca.  We have been to lots of places recently where we’ve loved things and there are no registeries – but I am a little worried about the internet savviness question.  Thanks for your help!

Hi gals,

I hvae been considering this for our registry too.  I’m interested in what others have to say too.  I too am concerned about the non-tech savvy folks out there.

Any tips on your use so far rebecca?

did any of you check out wishpot before going with myregistry? does myregistry show you that it has been purchased even though you are not purchasing straight from their site?

I use it for my wedding registry and I’ve used it to buy others gifts for baby showers. It’s really easy (I think) and noone’s had a problem with mine yet. When you buy an item for someone, myregistry will ask you "Did you buy this?" (something along those lines) and you have some options to choose from for a response. So yes, it will show you purchased it…I think you can opt out and say you purchased it but to not show it was you so you can surprise the person, as well.
