Mystic tans are great if you go regularly. But if you stop, your skin naturally sheds after a week. You could exfoliate it off and chances are you've been shaving your legs, right? So your razor probably took off most of that.
I haven't used the spray tan from Neutrogena but I've been using the Jergens 3-day tanning lotion which works faster than their gradual and I'm really pleased with it. It's subtle every day but now i'm tan-alicious!

I graduated last weekend and let my little sister convince me into mystic tanning since I would be spending the day in a dress. She works at the salon as a receptionist and does it all the time because she gets a great discount (only 6$ each time). She was nice enough to share the discount so I gave it a try. Now, a week late my legs almost look like I have fish or snake scales. You can see darker areas where the color is and then lighter also. Is this because I did something wrong? My arms, face and most of my body still looks good and it is just slightly fading but my legs look scary. Any suggestions? I like the idea of having the great tan (that really did look pretty natural) without the long term effects of a tan (bed or sun) but I don't think I want this scaly leg look afterwards. How do you tan? Any thoughts on Nuetrogena spray tan?
