I have been debating starting a blog... I love reading them, but I just don't know what I would write about! Do you like it? (I voted other...)
I don't blog, hahaha... mine's the one that got eatten by an allosaurus.
I think I've probably started and abandoned a dozen blogs in the last ten years. Mostly I find that I just whine, and I don't need any negative outlets in my life -- I need postive inputs! I'd kind of like to start a blog to the effect of "what made me happy today" or "what happened today that was good" but it would inevitably be too lame for anyone to read, hahahaha...
LOL I was like umm what the heck is a noblopomo lol!!!!! I didn't know about it but I have the foods to upload (from the taco lasagna) so that may be cool??
I love blogging, but I tend to just...forget, haha. I've started blogs before (lots of them, actually) and I've maintained some of them for quite a while...but it's inevitable that eventually I'll get busy and the blog will just sort of die.
I have had several blogs. My problem always comes with how anonymous to be. The less anonymous you are.... the less honest you get to be! My latest blog I have kept up fairly well since the start of the year. It was fairly anonymous-- no pictures, no names-- but I gave enough details that if someone honestly cared enough they probably could have found me. Well, yesterday I couldn't resist and I put up engagement pics including those of B and I.... guess we're OUT! heh.
Now I'm trying to decide if I want to keep that blog and start a separate wedding planning one... or just have one blog that is MOSTLY wedding planning.... can't decide!
the title of this post makes me want to do some yoga.
i can see myself chanting "nablopomo... nablopomo... nablopomo..." as I meditate. :)
I attempted the 365 blog challenege... and failed. So I'm trying NaBloPoMo and seeing if it works better!
okay bees, I just looked up my latest blog attempt... inspired by weddingbee, hehe. I just posted (all of my second post). I'll try to keep it up this month.
I know in my head that it would be good to record all the emotions I'm going through with planning/loving/premarriage, but ... it's just so much effort to write it all down!
hehe, always a reason to whine.
I have a blog that I've neglegted. I guess it's a great time to get it going again. I have been getting a lot of spam though, which is seriously annoying.
I'm usually good at keeping up with my blog once a week, but it's based on training my horse, and since I live in the city, I only get to see her 2x a week, and don't always have something interesting to say, which creates huge lags in the posts!
Sometime in the future, I'd really like to start a wedding blog, but I want to wait until I'm closer to the actual wedding so that I don't run out of things to say. I might actually write some of them in a Word doc beforehand, a blogging friend of mine does that so that she doesn't have those awkward lulls and can better coordinate pictures, etc.
I'm trying it this month since I can often go for weeks between posts yet get annoyed when blogs I follow don't update frequently... So hypocritical!
I often feel like I have nothing to talk about but I guess I can expand on things from the past and recap trips etc if I run out of things. I have enough photos from the past few years so there's enough content there, it just need words!
I start my blog initially as a wedding planning record but with us still being 18 months out and not doing very much in the way of wedding planning just now, all I have to talk about are silly eveyday things. Not that it matters much as the only people who read my blog are my mum and one of my bridesmaids!
I'm doing it this month
It's a big challange I think, but also a good excercise in sticking to something. I also have really run out of steam after the wedding...but I know that if I just focus, I can do better. I'm going to try to keep up.
Ugh my blog is so neglected right now :( I have so many posts swimming around in my head, but no desire to write them. I almost said no time to write them, but um...if I have time for WB I think I have time for blogging. I'm so tired when I get home from work that thinking about writing something just makes my head hurt. I know it's only going to get worse as the wedding gets closer.
i have two blogs and i used to write something faithfully everyday for a few years but this year has been hard. i'm hoping to get back into the swing of things. i think i'll try this out, at least on my personal one!
I've never tried blogging, but thanks I was wondering what NaBloPoMo meant!
I already try to post every day. I'm pretty good at getting it done, except, well, I skipped today. I did two yesterday, so maybe it counts as rollover. :p
I blog as often as I feel necessary... mostly about 5-6 times a week, but sometimes a little less.

Anyone out there participating in National Blog Posting Month?
http://www.nablopomo.com/ (anyone heard of NaBloPoMo?)
A post a day... you can enroll in their little program, but I really think you could just do it on your own too. :)
