I’ve been thinking and thinking about this. I’m so confused. On our first date one of the first songs we listened to was “You don make me fall in love”, and I remember thinking that I’d forgotten how sweet Naija love was. But it seems that song is past its prime now.
I’d always thought I’d end up using something classic like either “Let’s stay together” by Al Greene or “All I ever ask” by Nagee. A bit cliche, but somehow “All I ever ask” seems to be one of the greatest love songs ever to me.
FI’s greatest wedding/ marriage/ love song is actually an old one by Ebenezer Obey, think it’s called “olomi gbo temi” or something? He starts dancing whenever it comes on, it’s so amusing.
I’m thinking perhaps we should save it for when we change into traditional clothing in the later part of the reception. What do you all think?
