For your wedding? Seems too dark, it will distract the eye in your photos IMO

raspberrymojito:  I agree. I think it’s too dark. What about having pink fade into white like an ombre version of a french manicure. I would decorate my nails with some rhinestones on my ring finger.

MatildaFae:  Personally, if you know you’re getting engaged, I’d go with something a little more classic. I love these nails, but I wouldn’t want them to be what I remember in all of my engagement ring pictures.

I’m a nail art fanatic. That ombré look is awesome! Here’s some of my nail creations.

MatildaFae:  I’m not picky about matching my polish to my ring. I have noticed though that the brighter the color or the darker the color, people notice my hands more and notice my ring more. Red is always a classic choice. You could do red with maybe one fun accent nail.

MatildaFae:  I’m a big fan of nail art! I do a variety of colors and it doesn’t bother me if they match my ring or not. I like to do nails with gold and my ring is white gold. Though when I got engaged, my nails were done to match the ring only because my sister/nail tech had seen the ring before.

I say have fun with your nails! I’ll share some of mine for you 🙂 And sorry if the pics are giant, got them off my phone.
