I come from the line of thinking that nail color should be in the same tones as the lipcolor! Call me a traditionalist! I am going to wear pale pinkish, very glossy lips, and going to choose a pink/rose metallic polish from MAC. But I love a vintage retro bride with red lips and red nails, and I've been debating as to whether I should do that look.

french! the darker the shade, the more obvious the chips (says the girl who ruins her nails :))
Oooo this is a toughie. I love nailpolish. I'm torn between matching my "colors", and doing a light pink. On my fingers I tend to like a french, but I don't know if I'll go that way for my wedding. Blue toenails would make for a nice "something blue"...
I love natural nails with a french manicure, so that's what I went with. I also wanted a fun toenail color....as my pedicure would also be visible on the honeymoon. So I picked a darker pink, which was also a wedding color.
Because my wedding colors are Black & White with shades of red as the accent color and my dress is white with a black sash, I may paint my nails some shade of red. It will pop with the dress. not really looking for the traditional french manicure.
I'm going with nothing on my nails (I am not a good nailpoilsh wearer) and bright blue on my toes :)
I wear a french pretty much all the time. Usually a pinky color on toes.
