My fingernails and toenails were a deep burgundy wine, matching the bridesmaids' nails, as well as the bridesmaids' dresses/shoes/jewelry, my bouquet, the tablecloths, etc. I loved the look, never thought for a second that it might be tacky. Go for it.

I plan to wear a dark cranberry red on both my fingers and toes!
Thanks for the picture!! I was trying to visualize how it will look but most of the girls are always wearing light colors! I was thinking about doing a super deep purple....but sometimes in the light it looks black....maybe I'll look for something a little lighter!!
I wore light pink b/c I had spring colors, but I love the look of a darker color for fall!
I'm doing a french manicure, just because that's the look I've always envisioned for my wedding day.
I plan on having a Shellac french or american manicure. I'm doing Shellac because on me it doesn't chip and lasts for what seems forever. :) Hoping it will stay like new through the honeymoon. :)
@Treasure43: Yup me too. I love a french manicure for special occasions.
The only manicure I have ever had in my entire life was on my weddin day and I wore champagne-colored nail polish.

Has anyone worn any color on their nails for their wedding day? I don't know if I want to do the whole french manicure or light pink thing.....
My dress is pretty formal.....colors in my wedding are chocolate brown, deep purple, and green. My bouquet will be lots of purples, oranges, deep reds (think FALL!)
Will it look tacky if I do a deep color on my nails? I don't have super long nails.....
