What type of nail polish remover are you using and did you use a base coat before putting on the black polish? Also, is it just regualr polish or shellac or anything?

So is it more just under your nails then? One thing that works for me is to take an orangewood stick, tear off a small piece of cotton off a cotton ball, wrap the end of the stick in it, dip it in polish remover and use it to clean out from under your nail.

Black, reds and greens can stain nails. Always use a base coat (Even if it’s just top coat or sealer.)

You may have to file off the stain or wait for it to grow out.

@tootsweet:  You can purchase nail polish remover that is pure acetone. That is the meanest stuff you can get. I recommend that to people who like to use dark colors and glitters.
