I want to do an ombre naked wedding cake! I want to do a vanilla, a strawberry and a chocolate layer. I want to make sure everyone has a flavor they like! What do you ladies think about doing a cake request on the RSVP cards? Is this unheard of?

I don’t think people care about cake that much, but if you really want to go the extra mile, by all means! It’s thoughtful, but far from necessary, in my opinion. I like your idea of the 3 different flavored tiers & those are all pretty basic which is a safe bet when feeding a crowd you want to please :]

peachycheeks: Are you having a dinner as well? Often people are not too picky on the flavor of the cake as long as they are not allergic. I ask if you are having a dinner too cause if you are putting options for that on the rsvp card then you could add the cake option. I mean really you can do whatever you like. It’s your wedding. 🙂

katy13: Ah, we’re doing breakfast 🙂 It’s a 10:00 am short and sweet ceremony (probably less than 20 minutes) followed by a short coffee and OJ session for the guests while we do a small amount of pictures, then breakfast. Just a big buffet of all kinds of breakfast foods!
