I’m getting a rubber stamp with FI and my initials made but am having trouble deciding which inital to use for myself. The problem is that everyone calls me by my nick name, not my full name. So for example my name might be Amelia but everyone calls me Milly. As it’s a semi formal event should the stamp have the initial A for Amelia or M for Milly?
I think people may be confused if I get the A stamp. They will be all like who the hell is B & A? People are smart enough to get that right? Or should I just get M for Milly and be done with it?

@FauxBoho: If you are known by everyone as “Milly” I would use the M stamp.

Not exactly the same thing, but my FI goes by his middle name. On the invitation, we used his legal name, but everything else with our initials has his middle initial. Most people had no clue what his legal name was until they read their invitations! Lol
So I would use the initial for the name people usually call you. 🙂

I have a similar situation. My FI name is Michael Brandon, but everyone calls him Brandon. We are using Brandon at the wedding. Like you said, I don’t want anyone to be confused! I would go with the M for Milly:)
