I’m a major budget bride, but I definitely had a few major splurges.
First off, is my photographer. At the end of the day and after all of the cake is gone, the hairspray is washed out, and I’ve washed off all of my MUA’s beautiful work there will only be a few things that remain. Obviously our relationship and rings, but mainly our pictures. I told FI that no question about it, I didn’t want to cut corners on a photographer and having pictures that we would wind up regretting.
Another splurge is definitely my hair and makeup artist. If I’m spending money on a photographer, then dangit I will look AWESOME if it kills my pocketbook!
My dress. I was so deadset on getting a replica dress and not spending a lot of money on something that I was going to be wearing for 4 hours. However, after trying on my Paloma Blanca and the consultant said that they would sell me the sample for 68% off? I couldn’t say no.
