I moved your post to the "Tennessee" board in hopes that ladies there have some insight. I'd love to help but don't know the area. Good luck!
@Gemstone: thank you so much! im sorta new to all this and i really appreciate the help!
You all should take the Nash Trash bus tour! You can bring your own beer and hear funny raunchy legendary stories of Nashville. 2 ladies run it and its so much fun! Watch out though, they get booked early!!
You should also take a tour of the Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman or the Country Music Hall of Fame.
For the bags you should include Tennessee Tea Cakes or GooGoo Bars.
Go eat at the Loveless Cafe or catch a show at the Grand Ole Opry, go line dancing at The Wilhorse Saloon or just go HONKY TONKING down Broadway!
Even if you don't like Country Music you will love The Opry! It is an experience.
Good luck! Nashville is so much fun!
Here's what we did for Welcome Bags.
Tiny bottles of Jack Daniels and George Dickel whiskey (both made in middle tn)
SunDrop (soda very popular in the South)
Moon Pies (made in tn)
GooGoo Clusters (made in tn)
We also included bottle of water and mini bags of popcorn for the people who wouldnt like the sweets and the booze. The bags were a total hit, people raved about them.
Good Luck!!!
These are good ideas!
As far as the rehearsal dinner, it depends on your theme. We're going for kind of a laidback country theme, so we are having ours at the City Cafe East, a popular meat and three restaurant.
There are plenty of other places to choose from!

Hi Nashville Bees! I'm actually a Matron of Honor trying desperately to help my bride have the best wedding she can! It's a destination wedding to Nashville TN- both of us are not from there. I was hoping somone could help me with ideas for an itinerary for the guests when they arent at the wedding (their CVB site is terrible and doesnt offer any) . also welcome bags and other nashville related ideas - should we make them? no? . and good place for rehearsal dinner??
