Hi! I’m in Nashville too. There’s a ton of different venues here. How many guests are you planning on? Are you looking for a place to have both your ceremony and reception? What kind of look are you going for (an older mansion, farm, etc.)? What’s your budget?

Some places off the top of my head that you can check into – Belle Meade Plantation, The Hermitage, CJ’s Off the Square, Carnton Plantation, Dyer Observatory, Cheekwood.

Hopefully this helps a bit!

I currently live in Houston but am getting married just south of Nashville in Franklin, and my Fiance and I are probably going to be moving to Nashville as well.

I’m not getting married outside, but the ceremony is at St. Paul’s Episcopal and our reception venue is Jamison Hall in the Factory at Franklin.

There are plenty of places, especially with all of the plantations and such, so I’m sure you won’t have any trouble finding a place. You just might have trouble deciding on one!

If you have any other questions, let me know.

For your ceremony, check out Wightman Chapel at the Scarritt-Bennett Center. It’s a pretty popular wedding location, and it is gorgeous. It’s not a real church, per se, but the churches around here (at least the pretty ones) have so many restrictions, it’s insane. There are a few that are somewhat reasonable, they can just be hard to find.

Of the reception places I posted earlier, Belle Meade Plantation and Cheekwood would be the closest to it. They are all in the south-west part of town. Carnton Plantation and CJ’s are located in Franklin, south of Nashville, and the Hermitage is located in the far east part of town.

Riverwood Mansion might be another one to check into.
