I'm not sure if this falls under the reasonable category but Tec Petaja lives in Nashville and he is freaking awesome
omg i'm sooo wrong but there is a photographer who chats all the time that's in nashville let me hunt him down...
Tec did Mrs. Cowboy Boot's wedding, he is amazing! I doubt he is in the "affordable"
category though. Look for up and coming photographers and book them before their prices get higher! Miss Fondue has a photography business, she's great!
Our photgraphers included a free engagement session in our package. They are wonderful! We are using Chris and Adrienne Scott.
Tec is, in fact, awesome. But he's crazy expensive! We're using Jonathon Campbell photography and just got our e-pics back. We love them! Some of them are posted on my blog, and I'll show the rest once I get my CD. Yes- you get all your files!
My cousin lives in the nashville area and is an AMAZING photographer. She's just getting her business off the ground and is super affordable. She just did mine and I LOVE them. We are working with Sarah Timmons whose company is called Spectra Dezigns--I wanted beautiful photography but I wasn't prepared to pay an arm and a leg. I found Sarah and booked her IMMEDIATELY. We're getting her for 2 hours before the wedding and then for the entire duration of the ceremony and reception, PLUS an engagement shoot, PLUS the rights to all our photos for right around $800. And I have to say, I was able to find a couple of other photographers in that price range, but their photos didn't look artful to me--there was no composition and it looked like anyone could have taken them. Sarah's photos are gorgeous. I think she definitely under-charges for her services, but I'm not complaining! Check her out! If you want examples of her work you can go to her website or I can try to post some of our e-pics!

Just recently engaged and I'm wanted to look into Engagement pics (amoungst all other things!)
Any ideas of good/resonably priced Photographers in Nashville area?
And any creative ideas (or places to gather ideas?)
