Supposedly Loveless Cafe has a new rental space and I think it is a barn. Other places I considered were Belle Meade Plantation, Carnton Plantation, Two Rivers Mansion, and Riverwood Mansion. I think Travelers Rest also has a barn. I decided not to go with any of these though so I can't say much else about them. Hope that helps!
I lived in nashville for five years and in a former life was actually going to get married there i love two rivers and riverwood....
Hi,
I went to school in the area and considered get married in either Nashville Franklin, or Murfreesboro. I agree with the above suggestions. You can also search a local blog in order to get some ideas. I think the blog is ashleysbridalguide.com. I had a lot of fun searching through their vendor list, as well as their photos / profiles of past brides. I hope that helps! C
Thank you ladies! I am looking at the Loveless Barn. It is gorgeous, and has the newness of a modern venue with a barn feel.
Springbride10, where did you end up booking, if you don't mind me asking?
I wound up booking Country Music Hall of Fame. In the end, we decied we did not want to play with mother nature and I wanted the security of an indoor location. Plus, our guest list blew up so that alone limited our choices. So far, CMHF has been terrific. It is elegant, a true Nashville venue and a fantastic location for all of our out of town guests! If you have any questions, let me know. I think I looked at every venue Nashville has to offer!
I feel like I've looked everywhere as well. I'm trying to find the same thing; something very Nashville, a little different and not a wedding factory. I think it might be the Loveless Barn or maybe the Factory at Franklin.
Check out Southall Eden- gorgeous bard and great facility. The owner designs wedding stationery too!
I did check out Southall Eden...it looks gorgeous, but I'm too scared to do an outdoor wedding! haha. Looking for mostly an indoor space with some outdoor options. Where are you having your wedding?
Ladies, they are having an open house tonight at Southall Eden...see their website to last-minute RSVP :)
We decided on War memorial and I LURRRVE it! Check out the pictures here planningsarahelizabeth.blogspot.com
We decided on The Loveless Barn! I'm excited, it was the favorite venue of both of us, and we're getting it :)
I just got married in October right around the loveless cafe at Camp Marymount. Though they use it for a retreat center and boys and girls camp during the summer, they just built a new reception venue, indoor chapel, and heated cabins. They have an outdoor chapel (in the woods. . .I wanted to have the ceremony there , but it rained) Lots of my out of town guests stayed in the cabins (since we had a Halloween afterparty/bonfire right there). It was fantastic! and didn't cost a crazy amount!
ahansen2, we almost booked Camp Marymount! The outdoor chapel is GORGEOUS, but we were afraid of rain :) I'd love to see more pics if you have them!
Two places in greater Nashville are:
"Cool Springs House" in Crocket park in Brentwood. It may require the use of a tent but there is a barn and an old house.
Wild Turkey Ranch would be the other choice. It isn't "rustic barn" looking from the outside, but inside are stables and a large fireplace.

Hello Nashville ladies! I am beginning to plan my (probably) Fall 2010 wedding. I am going for elegant/rustic, chic country, etc. I am looking for a Nashville or Franklin area barn or space that is rustic yet elegant and is available to be rented. Any ideas? I feel like I've looked everywhere!
