My finance and I decided to get married in Nashville! It’s exactly a half way point from where we live and where he’s from plus super fun!! I’m kinda struggling on choosing a venue. I really really want it to be downtown maybe a few miles outside but preferably downtown. Our budget is $20,000 tops preferably under – probably wishful thinking lol.
I see a lot of hotels and their prices are outrageous. We were originally getting married in Charleston which is a top wedding spot but nashville is much more expensive!! I love the look of tbe hotel ballrooms but my first choice would be a lovely event space where I could choosey own catering etc. Can’t seem to find any 🙁 Saw belle tower but 8g for the venue rental alone for the day and its not particularly my style to begin with.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated it!!! 🙂

michaella93 : so sorry this is a late reply but just saw this and had to respond! we are planning our wedding in Nashville from Texas. We also used it as the halfway point between our families (his is in Ohio). We’re getting married this weekend at Green Door Gourmet! It’s a short drive from downtown but far enough out that it feels secluded. They have a barn sitting on a several hundred acre organic farm! You can bring in all your own vendors which was great for us because we were able to price several out and make the best choice for our budget. If you have any questions, just let me know and I’d love to help! Good luck!

Welcome to Nashville where the weddings are super expensive!!! I’m doing a destination wedding for myself, but did look at several places around the city and just outside. One of the coolest spaces was the Aerial event space. You’ve got the view of the sykline and it’s just gorgeous. You can also check out the Bride Building which is located right on the river and also has great views. Let me know if you’re more interested in more rustic venues and I’d be glad to share those as well!
