@katiee0707: Hmm, I don't think I'm of much help b/c that was the one I was going to suggest. You could always find a tux place local / where your wedding is, and then just have each guy send his measurements over from a tailor and pay you guys with a check. Then they'd all be at the location, and you'd know they were ordered/paid for/from the same cut/order.
However, if you find a style at a store you like, you could have each guy purchase it. Our guys bought suits rather than renting, because for about $30 more they got a suit to keep that was already altered to fit them. Something you could look into if you wanted to go that route with a national chain.
@NDBee: Thats a great idea about just getting sizes from everyone! The only other thing though is that I know a few of the guys have specific measurments they will need to personally get fitted for (we have 1 VERY tall groomsman and one larger groomsman) and I have heard experiences before where if they do not go to a store to get fitted, the sizes come back all wrong.
Also, FI wants to do tuxes instead of suits, so i think that might just be too much money to ask our groomsmen to pay. Thank you for the suggestion though!
I think JSO A. Banks are a national chain? Maybe.
I might be having a similar problem. All of my groomsmen live in the same area but our two ushers live about 3 hours away, his dad lives in Canada, and my Dad lives 3 hours away as well. My Dad wouldn't be a problem, the rental place we are planning on going though is from Green Bay which is lass than an hour for my dad to drive. I think for the others we might just chance it and get their messurements!
Another thing I have thought of is finding what lines smaller stores in the area carry. The store we are looking at seams like they carry fairly common lines ( I don't think Calvin Klien is going to be local.) You could pick a suit, find it's style number and see if everyone can find it. You could always rent the other stuff (ties & vests together to ensure that there is no color/ style problems)
hmm. We used Mens Warehouse for that reason. We picked SUPER simple black tuxes and bought the boys bowties. What are you looking for? I liked the idea of having them rent a simple, classic tux, and we dressed it up with real bow ties and pink suspenders
@auggiefrog: I agree with Jos A. Bank, as long as the stores are convienent for everyone to get to!
Ours were from Jos. A Banks for the same reasons - had a GM out of state and they didn't like the options at Men's Warehouse.

All of our groomsmen live in different parts of the country, so we need to pick a tux rental place that is a nationwide chain. We went to look at Men's Warehouse and really did not like any of the choices there. Does anyone know any other nationwide chains for tuxes besides men's warehouse? Can you rent tuxes through department stores, like Saks or Nordstroms? Thanks everyone for the help!
