I too have natural hair and were getting married in the DR so you know that humidity is no joke lol Im probably going to wear my hair in a kinky bush and add adornments.ow much length I get before my big day I may have it pulled back into a bush ball with a flower Depending on h Similar to my pict. Good luck! Im sure no matter what you decide it will be fly 🙂

PS I love Jill Scott :So many times I define my pride thru someone elses eyes, but then I looked inside and found my own stride. I found a lasting love for me.” J. Scott 1 is the magic #

I’m natural too and have no idea how I’m wearing mine.  I have wavy/curly/straight hair.  Yes, a mixture of textures going on.  And my hair has a mind of its own, so whatever I do, I’ll need to make sure it remains throughout the evening.  I’m lucky it will be Fall in San Francisco and the weather should be okay… unless of course it rains.  SMH.  I love the Jill Scott look.  I can’t get my hair to do this, unless I cut it into that type of shape.  I also think there might be some hair added to give Jill that look.  Not sure though.

I am doing micro braids b/c I don’t want to fight my afro my entire honeymoon. I love it but it takes a lot to maintain and I don’t want to have to deal with getting it wet and all that jazz.

Loving the natural bridal hair looks.  I’m also naturally curly and planning to wear it that way for the wedding (the Mister is pushing for me to flat iron it, cause he loves to see it down my back); but we’ll see.  I love the afro-curly pony look.  Very pretty.

Im currently working with my stylist to grow my natural hair out. I want a HUGE puff.

THIS is what I’m going for on wedding day! Darker color…darker highlights…
