Invites:

Fan Program:

Escort cards:

Centerpieces: (there were also smaller candles that were a 3x3 square glass filled with seaglass - very pretty at night

All of the above was DIY.
Think wooden, I am also a september nautical bride, we are making small lobster bouys for the table cards and also can double as christmas tree orniments for our favors. I am doing navy and green with hydregea blue. Also try thinking clean lines, doing a lot with navy and white stripred ribbion and white rope. We also took a trip to the beach and will be making my table numbers out of drift wood.

use coiled rope. It's cheap and very nautical and you can do a lot of DIY stuff with
it. AND You could go with a very cute "we tied the knot" theme

ALSO Sea glass fits into your theme very well. Just scatter it for confetti like decor

You could also easily make paper boat things...

ALso doing a nautical theme! Nautical as well as vintage. My colors are key lime and peacock blue with aqua. I like navy but wanted something a little bolder so I went with the peacock blue. Key lime because our wedding is in the keys! Lots of driftwood, rope and seaglass with white flowers and key limes for decor.
Will try to post inspiration pics later, dont have them here at work :)
I, too, am doing a nautical theme but am having a really hard time picking and choosing ideas and making sure it doesn't get tacky! HELP ME!!!!
Nautical themes make me so happy! I feel like it is one of the few themes you can really run with without making the wedding look too "kitchy."

Hey Ladies! I need some help getting some inspiration. We are getting married on 9.24.2011 on a rooftop in Tampa Bay. Our colors are Navy Blue, Aqua with Yellow Flowers. I am not even sure that I totally like these colors! We like the nautical theme but I do not want it over the top. I like clean and classic. I am having trouble coming up with ideas or finding anything that fits. I am thinking about doing hurricane glasses with pillar candles filled with sand from the local beach with a few starfish in it for our centerpieces. Everything I am finding looks that same though. I want something different!!!
I would love to have lights and paper lanterns hanging with lots of candles. Everything has to be DIY and under my $3000 budget for around 50 ppl. I have the dress already so that is not an issue.
I attached some of the things that I have found.
