You colors will be great. You do not have to worry about the brown at all as it is a neutral and can be used with any color. Ditto with the ivory.
The navy overlay and white cloth is a great idea. Not only is it economical to use the venue's linens, it will serve as a break between your ivory dress and the white cloth, if that is a concern for you ( ps it need not be).

and just for the cuteness factor

I wouldnt worry too much about the colors clashing if you are using the table overlays. Even if you had white table cloths and your ivory dress I think it will still look fine. Just add in some of those vintage touches, some milk glass vases, etc and dress the tables up with the blues and pinks to move the attention from other areas of the room. I love the colors though.
@julies1949: These pictures are awesome! Thank you so much!! I've been looking online for pictures and a number of those I have never seen. Thank you!!
Hello,
My colors are the same and I love them as they pop out so nicely. At first they were pink and green but seemed to Christmy to me.
Here are some things I am using:

Those are my colors too! You could always add the color with napkins too. We are having a nautical themed wedding since we are getting married in maine at a hotel right on the cliffs of the ocean. but our inside is much the same a pale brown and crazy color in the carpet. We are just going to try and hang up the paper lanterns to make it more our theme and to continue the color throughout. That way you wont get lost in the other colors of the room. We are also doing a candy bar with the only colors being pink and navy! Maybe a few ideas fro you :)
Those we my colors as well. If you are still looking for inspiration photos, check out my various recaps. :-)

Hey everyone, I'm using navy blue and fuschia for my colors. I am painfully uncreative and am looking for some inspiration. Initially, I planned on having a "modern" feel to the wedding by using clean lines, circles, and bright white as an accent color. Unfortunately the dress I chose is an off-white Rosa Clara lace gown that definitely has more of a "vintage" feel to it. So basically, I have my colors picked, but have NO idea what to do with them :S
The reception venue is a hotel banquet space. It has an earthy color scheme with different shades of brown for the walls and carpet and brown banquet chairs. They provide white/black table cloths, so considering I'll have around 40 round tables and 1 long table down the center, I planned on just doing navy overlays over the provided white table linens for the tables instead of purchasing 40 navy table cloths. I'm afraid that might clash with both the brown venue and my off-white dress. I'm also afraid using overlays instead of full table cloths might look strange. Any thoughts?!?! Any pictures for inspiration?!?!
Thanks for your help!!
