I am planning on doing navy bridesmaid dresses for my girls. My dress is most likely going to be a Maggie (just waiting to try it on), and it will be that shiny satin fabric. I wanted to have the same type (or at least shine) on the bridesmaid dresses, but haven’t found any I like yet..
Can you please post your navy bridesmaids dresses?

I can’t get the picture to upload. It’s Bill Levkoff Style # 526 in Euro Navy.
I love this dress.

Sorry this pic isnt so great…I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding, and we wore Bill Levkoff #372. It was an amazing dress…I think in size we ranged from 0 to 20, and somehow it looked good on all of us. It was navy satin…really nice color. So, I attached a pic of the wedding, and the one from online.
Bill Levkoff has some nice dresses, and nice shade of navy.

I know this is not your typical BM source but we ordered these navy dresses from Target http://www.target.com/Merona-Collection-Strapless-Party-Dress/dp/B001L4JU3W/ref=sc_qi_detaillink and http://www.target.com/Merona-Collection-Party-Dress-Sash/dp/B001LXQB4Y/ref=sc_pd_gwvub_3_title and I think it may be the material you are going for. Ultimately we returned them and went with a non satin dress in a lighter blue. However, my girls liked that they offered strapless and straps and were going to do two and two. I didn’t see the strapless one but the other one seems to be of good quality for the price (was $39, now $29), it’s just a thick satin and I we wanted something lighter. The best part is you can order them online and return them to the store if they don’t fit, you’re not happy, etc. unlike with bridal shops.

I just did a Nordstrom seach of your criteria and found these:
I wish there were this many options when I was looking for navy BM dresses! We ended up getting our dresses from Nordstrom which was perfect when a BM pulled out and I could return her dress!

Mine were from David’s Bridal and I think were about $140 when all was said and done! I loved them!

@MsPensFan: I THINK the dresses were maybe about $160? My friend got us a discount at the store where we purchased them because she bought her wedding gown there. So I think depending on the store where they’re purchased, you can probably negotiate price.
But just to echo others who vote for David’s Bridal…one of the BMs in the party was a junior bridesmaid, and had a different navy dress from DB. The color matched perfectly, and was a really nice dress. So if Bill Levkoff is out of your price range (which it could be a bit pricey I think), I would definitely suggest checking them out. They have a lot of nice dresses, and the shade of navy is really pretty,

Impression has a nice navy color for bridesmaid dresses. They are around $150 depending on the dress.

My dresses are navy knee length from Jim Hjelm. I think they’re great, and pretty flattering for all body types (don’t panic– they aren’t NEARLY as low cut as they are in the pictures online). I also ordered my sister, the maid of honor, a very similar dress from Lazaro that has a little beading at the waist– since the designers are part of the same company, they can cut the dresses from the same fabric and dye lot so that everything matches perfectly! Hope you like them 🙂
The bridesmaids are JH5000 (each cost about $160), the MOH is Lazaro LZ3032 and cost about $190. The Navy color is called midnight.

My Bridesmaids will be wearing this dress from Cache. It was $120 with tax and they look hot! Cache said they offer discounts if you order 3 or more “bridesmaid” dresses. Our price was without the discount. Oh and it reaches the floor on them. In the pic it looks like a highwater dress but it’s not in real life.
