I feel like all navy on both sides may be a bit blue filled. But, maybe you could have navy dresses with some sort of fuschia accent? That way you could incorporate both colors, and break up the lots of navy.
What about navy dresses with grey suits... you can have them wearing blue accents and the bridesmaids with fuschia accents...
something like this but with fuschia?

@o0olibelulao0o: i LOVE that idea thats what i originally thought but so many people are doing gray suits now and i want my fiance to have a little say (hehehe:) so since he really likes navy i dont want to change it to gray...any other colors in mind? :)
I love the gray suits/blue tie idea that @o0olibelulao0o posted. Would look great with navy dresses and you could add fuchsia sashes or wraps and/or bouquets. Maybe shoes, even?
If your fiance really wants blue suits, maybe you can make the girls' dresses just a bit brighter than navy (more like royal blue) for contrast? And still add some fuchsia elements to their outfits...
Or... what if your girls wore a softer shade of pink, and only the MOH wore fuchsia?
My fiance just suggested pewter/silver bridesmaids dresses? Any thoughts?...
@tringo335: LOVE that idea! It reverses the blue dress/gray suit concept, and there are some gorgeous silver/pewter dresses out there...

Sorry pics are so small -- but if you go to the Dessy website, you can view all silver/pewter dresses. Plenty of choices and they look very different depending on the fabric...
I honestly love the idea of navi groomsmen and fuchsia bridesmaids. Since fuchsia has much blue in it. But if you worry it could look too bright with many girls wearing this color, you could have them wear pale lavender with fuchsia flowers. I think it is called french lavender, or something.

@NotYourTypicalBride: checked out the dessy website....LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! do u know the average cost of their dresses? don't want my girls to have to break the bank hehehe:) I was thinking of picking something no greater than $170
@tringo335: Oh good! I'm not sure of the prices, but they have several different lines that I think have different price points. I would guess you could find something in your price range, but maybe the other bees can chime in here with more pricing info...
You should be good with your budget, definitely check prices online though...I found a Dessy dress and in store they were asking $230 and were going to give me a deal for $220 if I ordered then. Instead I went and looked online and found it for $140 (authorized reseller, not a fake)! So it pays to shop around...

Soooooo... my colors are navy and fuschia; My fiance wants his groomsmen to wear navy suits (which i love!) But i do not want my NINE bridesmaids in fushchia (seems like it would be too bright with so many girls) Would putting my brides in navy clash with the guys who are also wearing navy? Any other color ideas for dresses? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!:)
