Navy, orange and gold

posted 4 months ago in Beehive

I'm hoping the hive can help me with some pictures... our wedding is this November and the main color is navy blue.  The BMs are all wearing floor lenth navy gowns.  I was originally going to go with all white flowers, but I really like the way oranges and golds pop against the navy.  My mom however, can't imagine how this is all going to look.  Does anyone know of any Knottie profiles or have any pictures of weddings where the bridesmaids are in navy blue and the flowers are fall colors?  Thanks!!

No, but it sounds really nice actually. Look on Snippet and Ink. I think she has a navy and orange board that might have something like that. I carried orange mini callas with a blue dress and it looks wonderful.

i did yellow flowers with navy blue dresses, because you're right, anything in the red family really pops against the navy. i wanted to dark reds and oranges originally, but it just didn't look right for a may afternoon wedding. here's my MOH: http://kmcgee12.fotki.com/weddings-recent/stacey-and-tyler-stover/img5958.html

Thanks for the pics, staceyb!  The yellow looks awesome against the navy dresses.  I would like to do a combination on dark orange calla lillies, mango callas, and some deep reds and golds... I think the dark colors should be nice for an evening wedding.  Keep the pics coming!

That color combo is bold and beautiful!

Here's a wedding that was featured on Snippet & Ink that have colors similar to yours.

Real Wedding: Nicole & Alex

Snippet & Ink also has a rust and navy inspiration board. The bridesmaids have orange bouquets:

Good Luck
