I would love to talk to/possibly meet/get to know/ whatever some bees in NC. I'm from Raleigh but am about to move to Greensboro.. I'd love to meet some people who are into weddings and decor and all that stuff now like I am! :)
I'm not actually from NC, but my wedding will be there! Maybe we couldn't meet in person, but I'm definitely here for some wedding talk!! :)
It's a small town called Cashiers... on Lake Glenville. Ringing any bells? I must admit, I'm very jealous you live up there! It's my fav place and would kill to move up! Where are you getting married?
@Lorge28: Nope, doesn't ring a bell for me, sorry :) Well I'm here because I'm a Raleigh native. We're getting married in September in Apex with the reception in Pittsboro. NC does have some beautiful places, maybe one day you could find a place up here, since you really enjoy it! :)
I'm a NC bee! Woohoo!! My wedding will be in Fayetteville, NC.....only an hour and a half from Raleigh 
Hey im an NC bee!! I live in Raleigh and we are getting married in Garner NC!
I'm an NC Bee! :) I currently live in Durham but the wedding is in Kings Mountain (30 mins west of Charlotte)

@ashbee2415 yes, definitely! Is your wedding going to be in Raleigh or Greensboro?

@toBeMrsPierce: Get out! Where in Garner? That's where DH's parents live. I've been back a few times. (DH was born/raised in Cary.)
@Sundrop: yeah we picked somewhere in between, some of our family/friends are greensboro/western nc way and then the rest are on the other side around raleigh
@strawberrybanana: nice! i'm moving there on friday, and don't really know anyone. maybe you can let me in on things i don't know about the area :)
@ashbee2415:awesome! for sure! greensboro is great! be sure to check out tate st. great food, bars, coffee.
@strawberrybanana: Oh I agree! I did my undergrad and am working on my master's at UNCG. Tate Street is awesome!
If you're looking for a nice brewery/tavern, Natty Greene's in downtown is nice too.
wow, there are a lot of bees in gso it seems! :) FI knows more about the area than i do. I do like downtown though.
@Theresa90405 We are getting married at The Hall & Gardens at the Landmark....my parents also live in Garner!
hello NC Bees! i'm in knightdale, a suburb of raleigh, went to school in greensboro (go uncg! tate street is awesome!), and am getting married in sept '11 in downtown raleigh.

oh and side note - there's a natty green's in raleigh now too! it's where southend brewery used to be. it's kinda between 518 west and 42nd street oyster bar. love it!
I am a NC bee as well! I currently live in Morrisville (right next to Raleigh) and am getting married in Cary at Prestonwood Country Club! If yu need any advice on wedding vendors in the Triangle- I'll be happy to help!!

@Chocolatte: I too am from knightdale! cool :) I wanted to get married downtown but the venue I was talking to turned out to be pretty unreliable so I moved on to another idea.. and we're in september too! good luck!
I'm in Chapel Hill, had the wedding in the mountains north of Asheville. Now I just skulk around on the bee for fun!
@sheebsw: My wedding is just outside of Fayetteville but my reception will be downtown Fayetteville! Where is your wedding?

I'm almost a NC bee! We're moving from California to Raleigh next week--now I have a whole new set of local weddingbee boards to check out! Not to mention a whole new part of the country to check out, since I've only been to Raleigh/Durham twice.
I am a Triangle bee as well! I'm also a wedding vendor, so if any of you need help or recommendations about area vendors I know lots of great vendors (and others to avoid!)
*waves to NC bees* We'll possibly be in Charlotte in the fall! I love NC and lived in Raleigh for a year in 2007. I'm so excited to move back to the area-- I really enjoyed the energy and people there =) Looking foward to bee meet-ups!
Well, I'm not a NC bride, but as soon as the wedding is over we'd really like to move to Raleigh! There are basically no jobs where we are right now, and NC is by far our favorite place to be. So over the next few years while I'm still in school, I'll be applying to internships in the general area and trying to get acquainted with the city before we make the move!
FI is an accountant (well, almost. 30 more credit hours!) and he says he'll follow me wherever I can get a job as a PR specialist or something comparable. So... three more years and I'll be joining all of you! Can I be an honorary/future NC bee? Lol!
