I have not found anyone yet, I am in the same situation, coming in from Beverly Hills, I thought spending my time trying to teach myself to do it...I can just see so many potential problems unless you go in for a week and try everyone out. I get my hair done up a lot when I am on vacation, sometimes its great sometimes not, but then it isnt my wedding so I really dont care. Let me know if you come up with something. I DID find a fabulous person for make-up. Where are you having your reception? I assume the wedding is at Duke?
jul1244 - Who did you find to do your make-up? I'm planning from NY and I'm having problems finding someone to do my make-up. Let me know!
Sorry its been so long! I have found some great places and think that I'm settling on Caju Salon in Meadowmont in Chapel Hill. The other salons are Mina's, db sutton & co and 135 salon. The wedding is at the Carolina Inn. Where are yours? I'm lucky that one of my bridesmaids used to do make-up for headshots so I'm set in that department!
I'm originally from the area and while I have never been to Caju, I've heard great things. We're getting married next spring at Fearrington. I've tied up most loose ends but still no one to do my make-up! I don't even know where to start on that one...
omg.. i'm so juvenile - i read this as "triangle area hair" - which i think you know what i'm referring to..

I am working on my hair for the wedding with my stylist in NYC but need to find someone for my girls as well as someone who will execute what I decide with my stylist up here. Any suggestions?
