I live in NE PA, I don't get my hair done here but I've heard about Apple Day Spa in Honesdale and Utopia Spa in Hawley. I haven't heard anything negative about them and have been wanting to try them for spa services. Hope that helps! :)
I'm getting my hair done at RejuvenEssence Spa on River Street in Plains. I go there for regular hair appointments and have my usual hairstylist doing my hair for the wedding! :)
Edit: Also, I've heard some good things about Sakari (www.sakari.com), although I think they may be pretty pricey.
Thanks Ladies! Apple Day Spa is super close to where we're getting married, but they haven't replied to my email yet. I'll have to try giving them a call tomorrow.
Hmmm... The number listed on Apple Day Spa's Website is not working. Wonder if they went out of business. Sakari seems nice, but is a bit too expensive. Checking out Utopia and Rejuvenescence now. Any other suggestions?
My favorite place to go is Alexander's in Downtown Scranton. I don't know if you'd want to drive that far for hair/makeup. The website is alexandersspa.com. I've heard some great things about Sakari but they are pretty pricey. And I've only ever gone to the Rejuvenescence in Scranton and for spa services...but I did like them.
