So I'm trying to decide if I should wear a necklace or not with my dress...it has a good bit of beading so initially I thought no, but I don't wanna feel like something is missing either...what do you think..something simple with a fine chain and small pendant maybe...or nothing at all. I appreciate any opinions!! Thanks!

Post a pic of your dress so we can give you good advice.

In general, I think if the bodice is detailed/has a good amount of beading, then skip the necklace.

I'd wear fancy earrings instead of a necklace, and maybe a bracelet also.

    Yes necklace!

Your neck is naked. I feel naked all dressed up w/o a pendant, too.

    Great dress!

If you do a necklace at all, keep it simple and clean--a small pendant maybe. But I'd go without.

Thanks, I love how fast you get responses on here :) I agree about the neck seeming naked...that was my fear. I don't wanna be overdone..but I've seen plenty of girls with beaded bodices wear necklaces...I was thinking of dangly earrings and a bracelet definitely, not sure about the necklace though...probably don't need it.

I'd say do a shorter necklace with a thin pendant... something just a little longer than a choker.

Meh, nobody *needs* it, but it is nice to wear a little more jewelery than normal. I had on a diamond pendant (on a very thin chain), some pearl drop cluster earrings, a pearl and sparkly bracelet, and yeah thats it. The bigger earrings contrast nicely with a simpler necklace, but still give you a lttle bit of neck sparkle.

I agree that you should do a necklace, but not pearls.  A small diamond pendant on a very simple chain would look very nice and not overwhelming.  If you don't find anything you like, a pair of great earrings would be good too.

    Gorgeous dress! So flattering. :)

I think it's beautiful without, but would be fine with one too! But I agree with most, and say def. no pearls. By the way - your dress is amazing!!!

    Yes, necklace!

    A short necklace.

Something white or clear crystal, and delicate-ish. 14" - 15" inches.

I like your first instinct...dangle earrings, bracelet, & of course the most important accessory...your ring :)   With the beading and a sweetheart neckline for interest, you don't need a necklace.

I think it would look great with and without the necklace. I would vote for you to wear a necklace, but keep it simple. Maybe trying on a few with your gown would help!! Your dress looks AMAZING on you by the way :)

I think a simple necklace would be perfect.  You neck does look bare against this amazing dress!

It depends on your earrings. If you are wearing big dangling earrings, I might skip the necklace.  I feel 'incomplete" without a necklace when I am dressed up, so I'd go for a simple necklace in your case.

If you are wearing your hair down, you could get away with not wearing a necklace because your hair would cover some of the nakedness.

But if you do go for a necklace, I have a different idea for you thank most of the pps. I'm envisioning more of a statement necklace like the one attached. http://www.annabellagio.com/product/014056.shtmlMaybe not this exact one (I just did a quick search) but I think the rounded shape of this necklace is perfect for the sweetheart neckline and goes with the style of your dress (which is really really beautiful btw).

I found the pic here: http://portero.com/kwiat-platinum-diamond-circle-pendant-necklace-1.html

It's a bit expensive, but I'm sure you can find something similar out there :)

I think I might skip the necklace and go with a dramatic earring or bracelet.  Beautiful dress!

I would've gone for a bare neck, but my husband is obsessed with me in necklaces.  So I wore one for him.

I don't think your dress needs it, but something small would look pretty.  Keep in mind that most of your photos are going to show you probably from the waist up, so wear what you think would accent that the best.
