Neckline alterations!

amandap1023:  I don’t have pictures, but I alter wedding gowns for a living and usually when someone wants the v-neck to not be so low, something called a “privacy panel” is put in.  These are usually straight across, but you’ll need to specify that you want it to still be v-neck.  In the case of this dress, the panel would need to be beaded as well, so you can’t see it.  Otherwise I don’t think it would look good.  If you’re ok with the beading being thicker than it is now, then you’ll be fine.
