I can’t decide what looks best. I’ve always said I want a sweetheart neckline, however I’m worried it may look too busy on my dress?
This is how it is as is –
and altered to sweetheart (my seamstress just pinned it to get the look)

I personally like the sweetheart a little better. But can I just say that your dress is absolutely amazing, and it will be stunning either way!!!

I like it either way. I don’t think it makes the dress too busy so if its what you’ve always wanted then I say go for it 🙂

I like it both ways, but I actually think I prefer it just a little bit the way it is. It almost looks like a modified sweatheart, where it has just a little bit of a dip (rather than straight across).
Either way, you will ROCK that dress – it is gorgeous and fits you like a glove!

My first reaction is usally always sweetheart but in your case I like the straight much better on you. I think the straight is much more flattering.

I’m a sweetheart neckline fanatic – but I like it as-is on you!

@JessicaDolly: this is literally the first time i’ve felt that the straight neckline looks better than the sweetheart, lol. for some reason, with that particular gown, the sweetheart is making your top look narrower and your hips wider, IMO. (and you’re so slim! it’s bizarre.)

Either way looks great, but I prefer the straight!

Beautiful either way. Not too busty if you decide to go full sweetheart. I think I do like the original just a titch better – since it’s not really a straight hem at all – it’s a modified straight and is actually very elegant.
You’ll look great either way! Congrats!

I like the original the most!!! beautiful dress!

I think your dress already has a dipped neckline, it doesnt seem to be totally straight so I would leave it the way it is

I’m more a fan of the modified sweetheart which is a slight scoop across. You’re dress already has a slight one, maybe try to accentuate that a bit more?
Regardless I don’t think you can make a bad decision.

I think it is more flattering the way it is. You are so tiny and when you pull the fabric down it makes your dress look like there is not much fabric at the top (I’m not saying that there is too much cleavage, just less dress). I like the faux-sweetheart it has now and it looks very elegant in its original form.

I normally love sweetheart necklines but for some reason I think the straight is more flattering on you and for the dress. It would look good either way, but my vote is to leave it straight.

I might like a happy medium, not quite so harsh of a sweetheart but more of a deep dip than the first picture. Gorgeous dress though!
