Congrats! How exciting!  And what a strange thing for your neighbors to say…

ChaiSpice :  Yay!

I didn’t do anything special, I’m too impatient to plan something like that. Called my doc and went in for a blood test once my period was officially late (I found out 5 days before my missed period).

Call your doc and get on the schedule, and I second Pinterest for inspiration ideas if you can keep it to yourself long enough! I told my DH, and then my mom within about 15 minutes of each other lol

ChaiSpice :  Congratulations!!!!  Too funny about your sister stopping by. I just got my BFP on Sunday an HOUR before my mother was coming over for dinner, and then my grandparents stopped by later that evening! *facepalm* So far I’ve told SO, my very best friend, and the two other wives in my group that have been actively TTC as well. We’re waiting to tell our families until later next month. This is sooo hard to keep secret! They all know we’ve been trying so if anyone notices I’m not drinking later this month, they’re going to know something is up!

ChaiSpice :  SO didn’t want me telling ANYONE, but I would feel horrible not telling my besty (we’ve been friends since gradeschool and the fact that I’m now having a baby with her cousin is just another hilarious aspect), and I’m a terrible liar and wouldn’t be able to hide from the other two ladies since we have routinely been checking in on one another because all of our testing dates were coming up. He also told his boss because he started a new job yesterday and wanted to let him know ASAP that we had appointments coming up.

How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? Since my BFP I’ve noticed a few things that are new – the cramping is different than I expected, SO MUCH GAS (I was burping all day yesterday), my face is hot, and the thirst and saliva is picking up. I also have sore boobies, but that’s not different than PMS for me other than it didn’t go away with a period.

ChaiSpice :  I did, so I’ve got my 3 ladies should I need support outside SO.  And you sound just like me! Totally feel normal, can’t believe it’s real! Mushy brain! YES! I was wondering if it was too early for that, but for the last week, even before my BFP I just couldn’t string a sentence together. Yesterday I burped and yawned at the same time. I didn’t know this was even possible. And I’ve been sitting with my pants unbuttoned.
