I want to give my groom a really nice card on the morning of our wedding. I am having the hardest time finding a card that is specifically meant for a bride to give to her groom on their wedding day. I have looked in boutiques, online, on etsy, etc. Can anybody suggest where to find such a card? I am looking for something specifically for our wedding day, not just a blank card.
Hmm, maybe you can ask an etsy seller whose work you like to make you a custom card? A lot of them are very friendly and willing to do things like that =)
A quick search showed me that there aren't a lot of ready-made cards for brides to give to grooms. You can try a local card aisle and look for cards that women give to guys to say I love you or try Etsy Alchemy and put a request out there.
Have you looked at Hallmark? In the wedding section, they often have a small area of speciality cards including ones for bride to give groom and vice versa. They also used to carry cards that were VERY sentimental and had long verses on them that were very specific {They weren't religious, just heartfelt and gushy, for example, New Love, I Really Miss You, You Mean So Much to Me, etc.} They were tall cards {half of 8.5X11"ish}.
I know, I'm a super card dork! I used to be obsessed with finding and sending the PERFECT card to everyone and their brother. Now I don't have the time! Anyhow, good luck in your search!
I am making a card for my FI, and using this poem:
If I could have just one wish,I would wish to wake up everydayto the sound of your breath on my neck, the warmth of your lips on my cheek, the touch of your fingers on my skin, and the feel of your heart beating with mine...Knowing that I could never find that feelingwith anyone other than you.- Courtney Kuchta –
