They are in the West Hartford area and will travel to your location for hair & makeup. I didn't end up going with them due to travel fee - I'm in Western CT, but it might work for you!
Naomi Martinez (also noted by tater, above) in my opinion is the best in the area. She's recently changed her plans and now you have to pay for a trial and her travel, but she's great and totally worth it! I haven't worked with her yet, only put down a deposit, but I'm going with Dana Bartone - danabartone.com - I've seen a lot of good things about her. The thing that worked for me was that she didn't have a minimum number of people that I'd have to book with her for my wedding day since I'd be the only getting my makeup done. She travels to you too starting at 85 for travel and 65 for makeup, depending on who you use.
I have a friend who used Jennifer ballard. She did a beautiful job-everyone looked gorgeous! and she came to us which made it a lot easier than having to go to the salon

Hello Wedding Bees! Thanks to a post I put up a month ago, I found our reception location!! So thank you! Now I'm in search of someone to do my make-up the day of the wedding in the Farmington, CT area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Also, how much is the average cost that people pay??
