Check out PARRISH DESIGNS in Miami. Kathryn Parrish is down in the Design District and although her prices are average for the area, I’ve heard that she goes above and beyond with what she delivers. So you might pay her similar to what another florist costs, but the flowers are better (quality and quantity) than most!

Umm! I found PARRISH DESIGNS to be very unresponsive. Got so far and had to go with someone else as they stopped returning my emails. But their loss is my gain as I have now found someone amazing. Guerdy at Ocean Florist! She has been brilliant!

Wow! I’m surprised that Parrish stopped responding! But I’ve heard of Guerdy– that’s awesome that you found a great florist that you like!

I am also looking for a reasonably priced florist in south Florida.  I had no idea that floral arrangements had such a "WOW" price!  I was quoted $3,500 for the bouquets, corsages, etc. and flowers for the ceremony (that didn’t even include centerpieces for the reception).  I about near had a heart attack!

Yes, I agree Miami is expensive in the floral department. I have been making appointments with vendors I find on http://www.weddingwire.com I go for the vendors that have the highest ratings, and are consistent in their work. I’m finding it an invaulable tool to planning!

well I met with a lady named Nelly, her company is Natinel http://www.natineldesigns.com/welcome.html she seems to be well priced. She told me to email her pics of flower arrangements I liked and she would re-create it based on my budget (so maybe smaller or substitude certain flowers for similar ones).

hope this helps…

I have met with several florists but the quotes I have been getting have been really high.

I have met with Petal Productions, Daniels Events, Jose Graterol, Petunia Flowers, Amazing Flowers and Avant Gardens.

I really liked Avant gardens but I’m waiting on a proposal. I really hope it won’t be another $6K + quote. I really don’t want to spend that much on flowers if I can help it…

I have chosen Vivian Colls for the Floral. So far she has been amazing. She listens to what your budget is, and tells you what she can do for you..She also is highly rated on wedding wire. Her website is:

http://www.viviancolls.com/

My design involves branches, and crystals, and roses so it is not something simple, and she still gives amazing price.

The highest quote I have gotten so far is $8500!!! What?? yaa right. Vivian is giving me everything for under $1800. Keep in mind, I’m having a small event under 50 quests. Including everything!

I highly recommend my florist, Marcia of Beautiful Kreations. I’ve met with/spoken to/ and received quotes from 4 other florists and Marcia has been the best to work with. She is very easy to talk to, actually listens, works within your budget, makes great suggestions, and has beautiful arrangements.

The other florists I met with had great work, but Marcia has been so lovely to work with and really gave me what I wanted within my budget. Very reasonably priced!

Just thought I would post some pics of the wonderful job Guerdy at Ocean florist did. I love the way everything turned out. I would highly recommend her<span style="font-family: tahoma, verdana; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">.
