I’m meeting with our flower lady, FI’s brother-in-laws mom, in less than an hour (yay!) & I’ll be asking her the same questions.
But I want daisies (preferably shasta daisies which are the little white ones) but my dress is ivory so I keep worrying that white flowers with an ivory dress won’t look good. I could go with cream colored Gerbera daisies, but i really didn’t want to use gerberas. Any thoughts about this worry of mine?!!
I swear i had another flower concern but i can’t remember now.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the cream vs. white, most people don’t notice the subtle differences in person. However, they do make mini gerberas, which might fit your taste better than the big ones. And there are lots of different styles and types of daisy and daisy like flowers, so I bet you can find something that will go better with your dress…

thanks! I’m not quite as worried now. I was looking at the mini gerberas online & they look cute but i still love how the traditinal white daisies look. plus they’re my fav flower.
Well I talked to our flower lady and she said white flowers with an ivory dress look very elegant. So I guess I’ll just go with it.
I don’t know why i didn’t just compare my sample daisy to my dress before I gave it away for hiding! 😛 lol Next time I go visit those house that it’s at I’ll have to make sure I bring my sample with me!

I was similarly worried about whether the blue irises in my BM’s bouquets would match their navy blue dresses. (Blue irises are actually purplish.) But then I decided it doesn’t matter! Haha I need to adopt this attitude to all the other minute details I’m fretting about.
By The Way your bouquet sounds like it’s going to be gorgeous!
